If I had dated you for 6 years and you told me you had a crush on another guy, I would feel that the past 6 years had been a lie. I would resist the urge for revenge and just tell you to get out of my life and leave me alone. . . forever. I would assume that either you wanted to break up or you were the most uncaring bitch on the planet.

we were long distance for a year. He also rekindled and lied was talking to his ex a couple months before this.

i told him a year after the fact. we were long distance for a year. He never visited me. Right before I moved I found out he rekindled things with his ex behind my back and was texting her.

bc i think about my ex often and where things went wrong and his perspective on what happened. so i understand what went wrong with us and how i can prevent stuff like that in the future and make my next relationship not toxic
