Should I move on?

Met this girl about a month ago. We slept together on the second date.

Starting yesterday she hasn’t messaged me or said good morning like she usually does. This has happened twice. I’ve noticed she’s been active on social media despite not responding to me.

I asked her if everything was alright and she said she’s just been “super busy.” Is it fair to assume she’s just “too busy” for me and move on?

ordinarily I don’t care due to the lack of time we’ve been seeing each other, but we hit it off right away.

also wondering if maybe Memorial Day has anything to do with it.

“She hasn’t messaged me or said good morning”, is there a good reason you aren’t doing those things? Relationships of any kind take EQUAL work, I don't know why you’re sitting around waiting for her to make the first move day after day, you can say good morning, you can say goodnight. You can do the things that show you’re not some jerk who’s afraid of investing in a woman or trying.

Honestly as much as this may come as a surprise. I agree with you and you’re right. I’ve always been afraid of showing any emotion whatsoever in the event I get hurt. I have some introspection to do and appreciate your bluntness, sincerely!

If you’re struggling with these fears and they impact how you navigate dating then maybe this is an opportunity to reconsider if you’re actually ready to be back out on the dating scene yet. You don’t want to enter a new situation with any kind of baggage, she deserve a clean slate, equal effort and so do you. Being honest with yourself if you think there’s still some inner work to do then just tap out of this, let her go, work on yourself then get back out there when you feel prepared. Otherwise reach out and try, because as women equal effort does matter but we put a lot of emotion and overthinking into why guys aren’t contacting us. She could think you aren’t feeling it because you aren’t doing your part. I hope you can turn this around and I really do wish you luck.
