Yes, it is possible. And you don’t need friends to survive. It does make it harder though because a lot of people, if not most, meet their partners in social settings or at school/events so if you don’t have friends you wouldn’t really go to these events, but I’ve grown up most of my life with no friends and I still have a boyfriend of 2 years. We’re both introverted and don’t like people much so it works out.

You can, at the end of the day your boyfriend becomes your best friend. I think later it would be good to have some mutual friends where you can spice things up and have date nights etc

I don't have friends and I make that clear when I ask someone out. I mean it can be a plus, because I am available for her in flexible times.

Also I do enjoy solitude and need space and she can still sit with me when she doesn't feel like talking or tired

I mean, it’s possible, but I wouldn’t recommend it. First of all, it’s a red flag if someone doesn’t have friends because that tells me that they cannot maintain relationships. But also, friends keep you grounded and can support you in a way that you may not feel comfortable with your family. So, if anything goes wrong with the boyfriend then there’s not anyone around to offer an outside perspective or lean on, which can lead to a toxic situation if the boyfriend is your whole world.

I wish people would stop thinking because a person has no friends they are a “red flag”. There is no real proof and people don’t have friends for a variety of reasons, including being autistic or in my case, my family moved around a lot. Stop spreading a false narrative.
