Anonymous(30-35)+1 ybecause society pedestalizes women over men overall
this boils down back to men's preferences vs women's preferences
women wanting men who are tall, rich, handsome, famous with feminist thinking. is cheered upon and if a man can't meet those standards, then he's not a "real man"
men wanting women who are virgin, pretty, sweet is frowned upon and heavily scrutinized with false psychoanalysis and still deemed not a "real man"

Opinion Owner+1 ymen's preferences for women's aren't even that hard to achieve and even then men are willing to compromise
women's preferences for men however can be tangibly measured and women rarely compromise, heck the older they get the higher these standards go and then they want to blame men for not meeting their unrealistic standards or the men who meet their standards reject them
Opinion Owner+1 y@osmanthus well, I never said all women have these preferences. the point being is regardless of those preferences are, for men at least they have to line up with what society wants their preferences to be whereas can pick whoever they want (which they should be allowed to) but the same isn't allowed for men without some scrutiny

The opening sentence was 'Women...' which encompasses and implies 'All women'. You needn't have typed in the exact wording that 'all women have this preference for most to have extrapolated this meaning, regardless of sex or gender, of the individual reader. If what you typed was all true, then all women would have married the exact descriptor of man. I surmise both sexes pick and choose each other and if it so happens most men and women where you are have these expectations... well... you can always see about moving someplace else wherein most of either sex don't have these standards that you are going on about.

Did you approach about 50 women of various ages and ask them and they told you this exact same thing?
I highly doubt it. This is likely an internalized message you've picked up from some brainwashing media and high school group. I'm not saying you don't have a right to feel and think this way, sure, and at times even myself feels this way, but there men/women who don't think the same. I've never personally dated men who were tall, rich, handsome, famous with feminist leanings; that's a very narrow criteria for most men. Sure, I've dated the occasional tall man but none of them were rich, conventionally handsome, nor famous. Who I thought could have been the love-of-my life was none of those things... until... it ended. I wasn't enough for him but well, what could I do?
I didn't have a Phd nor could I magically overnight suddenly got one nor did I have double D's and my family was neither wealthy, famous or of his cultural socioeconomic strata, so, I backed out because he did the unthinkable (harmed me). There's only so much a person is willing to take and then some.
Opinion Owner+1 y@osmanthus the absence of "all" doesn't imply "all"
one could say men are taller and stronger than women, doesn't mean all men are taller and stronger than all women. likewise women live longer than men doesn't mean all women live longer than all men
the point isn't about who has what preferences and how many of whom has those preferences but rather the societal attitude towards each other's preferences- +1 y
So you say, but if you're using plural it implies ALL. Use singular and you'll have a justifiable argument for your flop.
I won't argue about the height and strength differential paragraph you crafted. That is a given.
Look, societal attitudes are liable to shift however and where ever it's going to shift. The point is about 'who' because we're talking on a very small scale. Society doesn't give a hoot about who I date so long as I or my partner ain't wealthy or famous and have any real stake in the world to affect it. If certain persons didn't have preferences, you wouldn't see marketing campaigns geared towards the advertising of certain characteristics like Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn Monroe was never a natural blond nor was she stick thin like a lot of the models seen on Paris catwalks nowadays yet because of advertising the rest of the drones and dregs of society have nothing but her face to wank off to.
Opinion Owner+1 y@osmanthus plural implies more than one, not necessarily all
everyone these days in society has an opinion on other people's preferences whether we care about it or not. the question here isn't pertaining to whether we personally care or not but why does society have this particular double standard as it pertains to particular preferences of particular individuals- +1 y
If that were the case, why not have stated using the word 'most' before the plural 'women'? It would have made your statement a lot less ambiguous or open to assertion that you've meant 'all'. Anyways, I'm not going to bat this point to death but it would've helped to have immediately known what you meant.
I already summed up the 'why' to this question. It's a done case.

Guys are larger in stature, girls are smaller.
So when a giant asks a shrimp out and the shrimp rejects. People praise the shrimp for conquering their fears, being brave and independent.10 Reply

Opinion Owner+1 ySorry, I don't speak misogyny. But probably that is why everything's so FUCKED UP, so thanks for that, you stupid moron.
Opinion Owner+1 yYes, I do, proudly. Too bad this is not an actual thing, given that women can't offer any ACTUAL life-threatening risks to men. Too bad you guys actually do threaten and MURDER women all the time and you FUCKFACE still find time in your shitty life to claim you deranged perverts built society by yourselves. Maybe you guys did, great to have somebody to blame for this shithole.
Opinion Owner+1 yCrazy that you think divorce/lies should be seen similarly to murder and actual rape - of course, considering that the "rape allegations" you dumbass mentioned are solely allegations and no woman was actually raped. WTF is wrong with you, you sick fuck? Good that I wasn't trying to actually answer this dumb question you asked because you OBVIOUSLY already had your mindset, being the pathetic misogynistic little man you are. Just say you hate women, is more honest and some people wouldn't waste their time trying to come up with something to help you. Hope no woman close to you ever has to experience none of that, to you I wish suffering.
Opinion Owner+1 yWait, considering how poorly you express your thoughts I'm not sure I understood it well, but are you implying that RAPING PEOPLE is a "strong-man" type of thing? Therefore, women aren't doing it as much because women "are weak and cowards"? Is that it? You should be incarcerated, you fucking incel. Or maybe kill yourself
Opinion Owner+1 yOk, incel, wouldn’t it be easier to just admit you hate women instead of doing all this mental gymnastics to justify the irrational mentality that you sickos have? You’re obviously not a smart person, I can tell by you calling women evil not ironically, tf? In case I wasn’t clear before, I think you should kill yourself
Opinion Owner+1 yI don't know, maybe you should check what being an incel means and then you would know that saying “the only value women has to offer is sex” is a very incel thing to do. Plus, it isn’t an insult if it’s the truth.
Opinion Owner+1 yI can definitely see how you don’t care, you sick fuck lol. Go kill yourself, fucking waste of space
Opinion Owner+1 yI don’t think you know what irony means, you dumb fuck. Maybe I will, it’s not your fucking business. But I figure you could NEVER, lol
Opinion Owner+1 yWho would want to “make a baby” with a piece of shit like you?
Opinion Owner+1 yWhy should I be empathetic towards a misogynistic shithead? I have no empathy for you
