So, I went on a date with a girl and she broke out with the classic "lets just be friends" line, and im like okay i can deal with that. Later on when we are hanging out, i met her sister, and i heard her sister ask "Since you're not dating him, can i have his number?" The girl i was hanging with seemed to get very pissed off at her sister to the point of yelling, and then she asked me to leave. On my way out the door, her sister stopped me and got my number.
Side note, her and her sister live together, Her sister is younger than her by 4 years. She was 33 and i am 38 and her sister is 29. Her sister and i now have been talking a lot, and have gone on a few dates.

Why is a 38-year-old talking about being friend-zoned?
because my wife died 3 years ago to breast cancer.. and i am trying to date again.
Don't get caught up between siblings...
Dont plan to. Though i have no idea why a woman who has made it clear that i am her "friend" and nothing more would be pissed off that her sister is interested. At this point id rather have her sister and cut her off entirely. it just seems petty.
Yeah... just bc she throws out a shirt doesn't mean she wants her sister to have it... It's a sign of nastier things brewing between them.
I guess. Their entire dynamic feels unhealthy.
