My friend gave this girl my number and she never texted me? Should I feel offended?

Let me start off I'm straight and the girl is straight. I know the title came off gay so I had to clear that up.

So what happened, my friend introduced me to her other friend. Let's call my friend Bella and her friends name is Courtney. We are all gamer girls and love playing videogames.

When I met Courtney, I was extra shy and maybe awkward but I thought we had fun. I was thinking maybe we could be friends. So I asked Bella if she would text her and ask if she wanted to play a game later. (by the way she never met me up for that game nor did she even reply about it).

Bella ended up giving her my number. Courtney has a boyfriend by the way so she's not lesbian, were are all not lesbian in case you think it may come off that way. And it's been almost two days now and she hasn't texted me at all.

I don't know if she's been on the game but should I just take this as an answer that she doesn't want to be friends? Maybe she's not a nice person like I thought she was.

well you dont really know eacother, maybe it wasn't that serious to her, maybe she feels awkward texting you etc. I wouldn't make judgements and just leave it for now. Its best to get to know people well in rl before you expect them to be your friend

If we had known each other more and hangout a few times in person and she still never texted me would that be a diss?

Also Bella was the one that decided to give her my number. It wasn't like I wanted to exchange numbers, I just asked if Bella could text her and see if she wanted to play a game together.

Even if you knew her a bit more doesn't have to be a diss, she might just not know you well enough to automatically wants to be your friend. Frindships take time and people can be in different places. Maybe you want more from that relationship that she can give, she has a boyfriend so he will be her priority and taken people often have less time for friends.
I would suggest not bother too much with it, time will tell.

That's great advice and actually I forget that. When someone is in a relationship, you're right they don't have time for friends. That's true I'll leave it alone and when she does text I'll be low key when interacting with her since I don't want to burden her too much.
