Yes! I think it demonstrates commitment, perseverance, and individuality. If Im with someone who is passionate about something outside of the relationship, it shows that that person will be 'singular' within our relationship. Even though we can date, we can have our own hobbies that keep us true to our individual selves, which I think makes a relationship stronger in the end.

Particularly for those of us who have previously been entangled with a codependent personality, knowing that they have their own interests and goals outside of me and our relationship is not just a relief, it’s a dealbreaker if they don’t. Eventually “romantic” whatnots like “I feel like we’re one” became blazing red flags.

I think a spark is as much physical allure as it is sharing a few things in common ☺️ and then really going for the asking them out. Lol. It's not always a shared attraction yet it's nice to imagine though how sometimes I've come across women who had some things in common and I never asked them out, yet I would think to myself what could've been. Absolutely, I find it really hard to relate to someone who isn't passionate about something. To me it's just empty or pointless to try to talk to someone like that, the dull, the uncurious.
