If a guy is ugly or unattractive should he not get interested in women to save his self esteem?

Like I already have low self esteem and it seems like the more I like a girl the more it seems unattainable or not realistic and it’s just overall sad cause then not only the possibility of rejection but I just feel inferior as a whole because you have people who can get relationships with ease

Better to have life goals that are worth a lot to you & to work on getting them done. This will build your confidence and also make you more attractive to women BUT your goal should be for yourself not for them. Only when you truly believe that you are the hero of your own story will you be able to win whatever you want and not be a beggar, constantly shifting your actions/feelings/beliefs to try and please women.
