For instance, the community of St. Robert Missouri is on I-44 with Fort Leonard Wood immediately south. That community is slightly built up because the economy of the community is largely dependent on the fort. So, soldiers who are off-duty and leave the base often go to St. Robert and have some fun like going to a bar or restaurant. You'd see quite a few soldiers off-base in St. Robert and could easily meet one.

Well as a veteran it's very simple.

You need to be near a military base, active duty sites are probably more rare near you but guard and reserve bases are everywhere. Go to veterans events as well or maybe volunteer for one. You'd meet a ton of men if you volunteered at a veterans or military event as a young civilian girl
