Is he into me if he only asks me for help on school?

back to my same old tactics I posted a sexy gym pic and had him on it to see if he'd dm. I've known this guy for a long time he's friends with my friends but I had a boyfriend. Now im single. He dm'd and we talked a lot and it was flirty in my opinion. he has a HUGE test coming up and I am the same age as him but he took a gap year so im the grade above him. He keeps asking me for help like what did u do for this subject etc. but he has 2 brothers who have taken this test that he could've asked. Is he into me or just trynna get my help. I was on the dating apps last year and he was on there too so I think he's looking. He knows my ex though and is in the same school as him. I moved to a diff state for school but am moving back soon so no long distance if he wanted to start stuff.

Hmm that's a tough one. On the one hand him asking for help could just be cause he knows you're smart in that subject. But flirty DMs and the fact he didn't ask his bros first is maybe a sign he's into you too. Guys can be kinda clueless sometimes about showing they like a girl.

If you want maybe try finding an excuse to study together in person instead of just online help. See how he acts - if he's all nervous or touching you a lot that's probably a good sign! Or you could always straight up ask him to hang out just you two, see how he reacts. If he seems into that then I'd say he likes you for sure.

Only thing is be careful about dating friends of your ex, even if you're over your ex. Sometimes that can cause drama. But you said you guys talked in the past so he must have been interested then too. And you said he's single so I'm sure it would be fine.

Go with your gut - you know him better than me. But I'd say keep helping for now and try to spend real time with him too. See how that goes and you'll know for sure then! Good luck!

If he has two older brothers he could’ve went to, he flirted with you in DMs, and trying to hang out with you through studying excuse… My advice: Once you move back, tell him that you want to “study” for a pop quiz and you need his help then make a move help him out a little, if he’s interested that is the time you’ll know.

He is just giving you pointers, nothing bad in that. He is looking after you, now I don't know if it is a just friendship support or not. I think you took him out of context is all, just ask him for a clear easy to process answer.

@kareenakapur I’ve never been around him to know how frequent he uses those words in his vocabulary. If I said “DAWG” & “dude” frequently I would carry it out to the woman I love. Just ask him when you see again if he wants to date you / has special feelings to you, that is most accurate rather than debating me at what he meant.

Probably both. He trusts you know what you’re doing cause you’re a year ahead of him but he’s also into you and is using this as a way to break the ice.
