Guys, How normal is it for every woman I've been romantically involved with to go scorched Earth after we parted ways?

I'm curious about how normal of an experience this is. Every woman I've ever dated or been romantically involved with has gone totally scorched Earth on me after the break up.

We're talking actively hostile to the prospect of interacting with me. We can't even have a civilized conversation type of deal. Every woman I've been involved with is like this, and I'm just wondering if that's something most guys experience?

I feel you. I get the desire to not be in touch, but it's a little weird to me that women would get aggressive with me for saying "hi" however long after parting ways. It's just odd that it's such a sticking point.

My concern is more about the degree of hostility, not the fact they don't want to stay in touch. I wouldn't mind someone not wanting to have drinks with me. But it's a little weird to me when the woman shows open and active revulsion at the idea of interacting with me.

Obviously, but it's probably better to go through life without having prolonged hostility between people if you can avoid it. Even if you aren't interacting with each other, it's just nicer to not have a source of strife and conflict.

Fair enough... It's not like I'm the one carrying around the anger. It is a little bit annoying to have someone like that try to take shots at me after the fact though.

I've had a few vindictive people do stuff like that... those were guys I used to be friends with though. Not any of the women I've dated.
