Which is worse being rejected or being in a relationship and being used as a just a roommate?

So I don’t have many rejections because usually i reject myself before women can so I somewhat soften the blow. But for the second part I didn’t realize the context of what she was actually saying till way later on cause we would get out of the car and she would make these comments that it’s easier just living with someone.

If I was in your case, I guess that being rejected would probably be worse than living as roommate as long as there is no romantic feelings ruining this roommate agreement.

I am personally not dating, nor am I interested in being in a relationship and I could imagine that once you were hoping to get into a girl's pants and she rejected you, it must be a big blow to your ego.

Now, I would not mind being in a platonic relationship as a roommate with a female (sorry no males - too many problems) and to know where the limits are. There is no such thing as being used if you define the roles before you sign that roommate agreement and that you stick to the rules.

However, I would certainly put a clause in that agreement that as soon as the one or the other party does not abide by the rules, she is out of that agreement and must pack.

No this was supposed to be a romantic relationship it was not about getting in her pants but it became clear later on that she was just in it to make her life easier financially cause more frequently she would say it’s easier to live with someone. Also her mom would comment how I seemed to be more committed in the relationship than she was. Also our communication was absolutely horrible and she did nothing to try to work on it
