Do you know what kind of snake it is?

Do you know what kind of snake it is?
By the shape of the head, eyes and body, it doesn't look poisonous. Probably some sort of garter snake. But I'm not sure.
You did really by sweeping it out the door and not killing it. 😊🙏
If you google "snake identification" and your location, you will find online guides to help you identify your visitor.
@olderandwiser
Good idea, I will do that. Thank you 💯
A I'm running away from that snake kinda snake lol Jen
@geminidiamond
I hit it with my broom 🧹 and threw it outside
@jennz6 Oh that's not fair... You took a photo of the snake, but not one of you have a broom fight with it? That would have been so much more enjoyable to watch!
*having
@TommyMountainFigure
lol I just want to know if it’s poisonous
Was it making any rattling noises?
@TommyMountainFigure
No, actually no sound whatsoever
I think I've found it @jennz6.. I think it is a black spotted python and no it is not venomous!

broom works, I've used it on bugs and it is very effective
it's decent size bigger than a garden snake
@chrissykerdock
I don’t think a garden snake has spots on it
was that in your kitchen
@chrissykerdock
No, it was in my bathroom 🚽
even worse there's glue traps you can get
@chrissykerdock
good idea 💕

Need to see the tail also, but I think you can do a Google search on the picture and depending on where you live it could be poisonous or not , I don’t have any poisonous snakes where I live, but if you live in Florida, then it’s a good chance that it is poisonous
@likes2drive
The whole snake included the tail

It doesn't look poisonous
@KostasKouvalis good
It doesn’t look like a poisonous one
It could be any one of thousands of species from around the world. No idea.
I know that Bill
I know it's not a Monty. That's the sum knowledge I have of snakes.. Sorry!
Someone must know
I'm here looking it up as we speak.. I have loads I'm sifting through.
What part of the world are you in so I can narrow it down?
Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake is a possibility..
Nah. lol its not that one.. That's a carpet python.
If you have the Google app take a pic then on the far corner on the right you’ll see a camera put the pic on there and it will tell you
she's a beauty. Remember… we are all friends…
Until they get to python size…
Yup, that looks like something I have no idea about!
I don't know, I think u should use google lens.
It looks like some kind of whiptale. I recommend using the i-natuaralist app
It looks somewhat like a diamond back rattle snake.
I'm not familiar with the difference in snakes. I just stay away from them
Unusual markings. Probably a king snake. Could be a boa or python.
Since you are in Florida it is probably a python
Where is that place located!
@katiesmuff
Central Florida
No, but it looks poisonous is that inside your house?
@Lliam it does to me
@Lliam No but if you’re such an expert, why aren’t you telling me exactly what the snake is and sending me links
@Lliam Why should I you’re the one that came to me with your expertise demanding that it’s not poisonous if you’re so positive that it’s not poisonous, then show me the proof and you can certainly show me the proof on the Internet by matching the pictures up and giving me a detailed description with a link i’m going out for a little bit of exercise now. I’ll be here waiting for your link and all your proof don’t be lazy. Remember, you’re the one that came into my area. I didn’t go into your area. Just to let you know I live live in Florida USA
Excuses excuses excuses you’re just a feisty guy that came into my area to
try to push your weight around and you don’t have any back up plan and you can’t back up your proof you’re wasting my time and energy. You’re just trying to look like a hot shot a shot caller in here by going around into all these areas telling everybody it’s not poisonous like you’re the final word and you’re not at all have a snickers bar you’re just not yourself when you’re hungry
Little man lol even a 70
Year old man has to resort to name Calling when he knows he’s wrong. Unbelievable. All humans like you are the same at all ages. if you want to dish out heat, be willing to take it back and you know what the old saying is if you can’t stand the heat then get out of the kitchen
@Lliam you certainly don’t act your age you’re an immature little baby having to resort to name-calling that shows that you definitely lost this debate and you don’t know what you’re talking about. That’s not saying very much for you is it.
It looks like a juvenile black racer.
It’s wild that you’re still trying to figure this out when you had an answer from a biologist from Florida hours ago… It’s a long slender snake with a round head, round pupil, whip tail, no visible pits, smooth scales, that is gray to black in color with traditional blotched patterning of juvenile black racers fading into solid gray to black that is seen in adult black racers… Just for reference, black racers start out blotched like that when they are small to trick predators into believing they are poisonous like many Florida banded snakes and they gradually shift color as they age. Once they are roughly 2-3 years old they will be mostly black on their backs with while around their chins. Here is an example of their progression of color change as they age. It would seem someone thinks with their emotions over their mind.

No idea we only have one in the UK
@cubapirate
I’m sure it is a some kind of a Tropical 🌴 snake 🐍
I don't but it looks like a baby.
Carpet python
