I went on this date with a guy and he kissed me at the end of it and it was so awkward. I know he knows it was awkward but didn’t say anything and I feel like I should apologize. I’m 28 and it was my first kiss and I feel so embarrassed to even say that. Should I text him and apologize for it being awkward and ask for a redo?

If you're still thinking about it then perhaps you can ease your mind by flirting with him and asking for a redo?
The first time a girl kissed me I was not expecting a tongue in my mouth and I literally pulled away and spat on the floor of my bedroom before running out of the room screaming "gross"! It was hella awkward. I didn't realize how bad I had made her feel until minutes later and told her that it was my first kiss and apologized for being rude and dumb. She forgave me and taught me how to kiss (her).
