How to text the first after not talking for 2 months?

I am not going to tell you the stoy of my life, it's boring lol, but I need an advide for my guys and girls.

Basically, I have been talking to this guy for a very long time now, we suddenly stopped texting as much as we used to and it eventually lead to not nexting at all. We didn't exchange a single text within 2 or 3 months. I was hoping he would text at least on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday as it would create a conversation, but he didn't. I was really mad, because we were on a pretty good terms and not texting was too much, but I ended up telling myself I didn't have the right to be mad at him, 1st we're not dating lol, and he doesn't know how do I feel. He told me I entrigued him as a girl, whatever crp Hoestly I don't know, he might not be that intereted but I want to give it a shot. Usually I never text first and I keep telling myself that I am not direct or expressive but honestly it feels like I just don't have the gots lol, but he is different, I feel like I need to text, but I am not sure if I should.

Would you guys be ok if the girl you're interested in texted you first to break the silence? Wouldn't you go and say, damn this girl is just too desperate? And what type of text should I send? I am pretty much the pride type of person and he knows it, so I don't want to go, "hey what's up".

Okay girl, I feel you on being hesitant to text first since that's usually not your style. But from what you said, this guy seems worth breaking your own rules for!

I say go for it, but play it cool so he doesn't think you're desperate. Maybe send something like "Hey stranger, been forever! Was wondering how you've been?" That's friendly but not too invested.

If he responds well, you can catch up some and then casually suggest meeting up to catch up face to face. Like "We've got a lot to chat about – wanna grab coffee Saturday?"

You're taking the initiative but also leaving the ball in his court to respond. And meeting up shows you want to reconnect in person, not just over text. Most guys would be flattered a girl made the first move!

Plus by acknowledging some time has passed you're not acting like nothing happened. Own it with confidence - I'm sure he'll be glad to hear from you. Keep me posted on how it goes, girl! Fingers crossed for you.

Tbh I don’t think it’s very optimistic if he’s not sent you a text within 2 months. I think there’s a good chance he might’ve lost interest by now or was simply not that interested in the first place. There’s always the small chance he’s thinking the same as you and waiting for you to text first too tho. So it really depends on how you feel, if you feel you like him that much and rlly want to give it a shot then go for it. Don’t think too much on whether he’ll think you’re desperate, if he likes you, he’ll be nothing but happy. I think it’s best to be direct even if it’s gonna be hard, it’s the fastest way to clear things up. You could ask him how he’s doing since y’all haven’t been talking much. Or you could jump right into it and say it’s been a while but you like him and don’t want things to just end like that. You can ask him how he feels about you
