Would you reject another person from the opposite sex just because they have a face you are not physically attracted to?

I have before in the past. This guy asked me for my number but i said no to him. The only reason why i said no is because he doesn’t have an attractive face in my opinion. I just felt i probably cannot feel satisfied being in a relationship with somebody i feel zero attraction towards.

I’m going to guess there is a lot of other people out there like me. They do not want to date a person they do not find physically attractive. Am i right? Are most people like me? Are you like me?

Yeah I totally get why physical attraction is important when considering dating someone. I'd probably feel the same way in that situation. It's not shallow to want to be with someone you actually find good-looking.

That said, I don't know if rejecting someone solely based on their looks is really fair either. Physically, we can't help who we're naturally drawn to. But attraction is also about personality, how someone makes you feel, your compatibility. Maybe he could have grown on you if you got to know him better first?

I'd like to think I'm open-minded enough not to rule someone out immediately over looks alone. Their character and how we vibe is more important I think for forming a real connection. But at the same time, you need that initial spark too. It's a tough line.

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer really. As long as you're not unkind about it. For your case, saying no politely was fine since you barely knew him. Maybe next time give an average-looking guy a chance if he seems interesting? You never know, they could surprise you!

If you’re not attracted to him then that’s simply it. No reason to say it’s his head or height or anything else. If you’re not drawn to him then that’s the end of the story.

No. I once had a girl with a "meh" face but an absolutely stunning body. It was glorious, like a secret hideout no one else discovered that I got to have all to myself.

Depends on their body, I've always preferred body over face.
