Is my coworker into me?

So today my coworker and I got stuck in the same building because of heavy rain and lightning. We usually don't talk a lot, he often gets scheduled elsewhere and so we never had the chance to have a proper conversation. Now that we were both stuck there and alone, we got no choice but to talk to one another. I found that besides physically attractive, he is actually very charming and nice, even though he might seem cold at first.

He was smiling and laughing throughout most of our conversation, making steady eye contact like myself and I took that as a good sign. But, towards the end of it he confessed to me that there is someone who likes me. I asked him who that was, but he refused to say their name and said I'll find out eventually. It's a bummer because I thought I might have a chance to ask him out on a date, but turns out he knows someone else likes me and won't make a move. Or is it possible he is talking about himself and just doesn't want to admit he is interested?
