💯YES. I have to be in order to be taken seriously. At 5 feet tall and 110 lbs you got to be able to stand your ground somehow. I don't know if you know about MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), but INTJ personality type for some reason is considered masculine (maybe due to not chatty Cathy, giving out hugs and happiness, using logic instead of empathy, and stubborn in your own ways not being swayed to go with the crowd or people please, etc.) I seem to attract guys (as I only have male friends), also due to my competitiveness, dark sarcasm, no fear of calling out others bullshit or delivering cold hard truth, and being a tomboy preferring shooting guns over fashion/salon/makeup/etc.

I mostly just want to be left alone, so I've developed trying to spook people as a defence mechanism so strangers won't talk to me in public. That and I dress to intimidate at least in winter when wearing a heavy leather coat won't result in dying of heat stroke. The difference in the way people behave between that and my summer self is... noticeable.

Yes. I am not a big or physically imposing guy, yet I've been told I am. It's probably a mix of self assurance and my ability to listen. And listen very well. People with bad intent, or your garden variety bullshit ter pick up on that and avoids you.
