Basically, it means something to the affect of, “You’ve got your shit together, strong and independent but in a way I can handle.” In other words he respects you but in a way that doesn’t diminish his masculinity. Typically this is the type of compliment a guy says of a woman he finds attractive but isn’t afraid she’ll “wear the pants” in the relationship.
