It can be a fun way to stay connected, a good chance to just chill and chat… very “When Harry Met Sally” (

While it doesn’t replace physically being with a person, it’s often an important component in aspects of relationship management and maintenance today.
I like both. Especially if we both have a great sense of humor. The phone calls get pretty funny 🤗 and interesting.
Text is ok, but sometimes people can take something the wrong way because you can't hear the inflection in a text.
But they are fun to go back and re-read.
Yeah that is one thing about text they are fun to re- read
Important for me. It's nice to know I'm on her mind like she's on mine.
Lots of communication is a positive. Text when she can. Call when we can. It's nice.
But I know it's not everyone's choice. I'm not everyones choice
Thanks for the MHG!
Fairly important in a new relationship. Both guys and gals mate guard. In new relationship you learn about the rhythm of their life.
In an older one it becomes more focused on the exceptions; staying back at work etc.
Thank you for that clarity

Texting means nothing! Phone calls are nice and much more effective.
I never had daily communication with a guy ever , so I just am now the type of person to text a guy once a week only or one time a day.
unless we are planing life together like Friday family barbecue, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, living together , then I would text a guy daily but I neve had a relationship so there’s nothing to talk about or text.
never had a guy call me before by phone to talk. Just once for 2 mintutes lol by a guy online.
Ok so only if you and the person is living together that's when you will text them daily so you are much of a texter than someone who calls
Texting , It has its place , but it is still the worst form of communication. Quick notes , statements and questions. Amusing observations , flirty / sexy provocations and even well considered thoughts that you couldn’t say in person for a variety of reasons BUT for what can easily be lost I’d much rather upgrade to a phone call or FaceTime /video call assuming I couldn’t meet in person. I cannot stand those big lengthy back and forth over text and I refuse to get drawn in to them
I don't like calls. Lots of texts are good. You can look back and reread them too so if something made you feel good or tingly you can look and be happy again.
Calls ugh.. not only is it likely others can listen in (family or co workers) which is awkward but my mind goes blank. I'd prefer talking if face to face to gauge the other person's body language.
Yeah one thing I really prefer is a face to face communication
Yes!!! It's how it should be. Your open enough that you can see eachothets true self bit also filtered enough that you don't blurt all your deepest darkest secrets lol. Talking online can be like writing into your diary. But with feedback lol. Well for me. Hence I way overshare and spoil that build up of friendship and trust that comes alongside sexual attraction!
Sorry lol... I'm feeling a bit meh over being single this week lol
Lol you didn't over share anything I love your vulnerability
And yeah I do feel meh about somethings too it's just normal for us to feel that way and I like your sense of humor at least we both agreed on one thing face to face communication lol
that's nonsense to me...
most of my relationships are in person, with the person
texting and calling are for logistics, to keep in touch... not to have a relationship through it, lol
Ok I see it's not that important to you
it's not the priority...
it's just that I've usually lived with my girlfriends, and we spend the time together... and we're working or doing our own stuff sometimes... we do live "our other lives" too
it's just a different way to go about it...
maybe if I were 20 again... when I didn't have my own place and lived with my parents, then yes... we would text a lot more during the day while apart
Now I understand
I have messages disabled. I don't waste my time on people who are clueless about communicating.
Hmmm ok
Everyone has a preference. I guess that's yours
I've never really liked called I was more of a text person but when I got with my partner we was always talking on the phone calling each other and texting each other, all hours of the night and day lol
Not that important unless we have key moments and plans. 7 years marriage so we still call up to shoot the shit, talk about dinner, say hi, but overall we can go a whole day without talking via phone or messages.
I'd love "my woman" lol ♀️ (not claiming ownership hahaha) to text me, message me, or call me, regularly 🎩😆
So yes it's important - yet I do like some space 🌌🚀
Not that imp. Really just safety shit. Especially if I’m manic and I read a car crash happened 10 miles away.
if there's chemistry and we're totally enjoying it, it's no effort at all
Not important at all. A person like that will come off very needy. And who wants that?
Texting, definitely text
That means you are much of a texter
Very important! I want daily communication.
I'm cool with whatever they're comfortable with
