I've never had a hookup, so I can't comment on what's required for that...

For a relationship... you should be able to feel comfortable and connected to the person on five different basic levels, so some women might feel that a height equal or a little taller is the best fit for them... age, geographic and cultural proximity and several other compatibility factors might apply, especially where the two people are seriously considering a long-term relationship leading to marriage...

Honestly any guy besides a dwarf will be taller than me!🤣 I'm 4' 11" and ¾ and weigh 110, so any person of any gender is probably bigger and taller than me. (& no I am not a dwarf myself.)

4' 11 in some countries would be considered only slightly below average.

Average supposably for women is 5' 4" 120 lbs and men (I don't know for weight 180-200?) 5' 9".

5'9 is the average when including older generations of men.

But if you only look at men between 18-25, the average height is around 5'11 - 6'0

However this only applies to the US, people from countries in east Asia are much shorter.

Everyone differs. There is no exact appropriate height. My boyfriend is 23, Caucasian, 5' 7", and 160.

Although technically according to BMI he is a bit tubby. He claims he is 5' 7" more like 5' 6 ½"ish and is actually 165.🤣 Doesn't look chunky or have muffin top just looks like he's got meat on his bones not a slim Jim twig. His dad (& I) tease him and call him "Tits".😂

As a 4'11-5' woman, height as never mattered to be attraction wise, but I noticed shorter men tend to have a complex about being short. In other words, they are insecure about their height and they show it in very immature and insecure ways that mostly involve being misogynistic because they think it makes them more manly. Not all short guys are like they, but a fair few and it's the only thing that makes me weary of them.
