Does anyone else feel like they will never find a partner?

I use to have a serious relationship for a good few years. Ever since I split with my ex, I have been on dating apps on and off but it seems impossible to meet anyone. Most of the people I come across on there seem to only want to hook up. It seems very rare that someone wants to date anymore. It confuses me because I see people getting engaged and married yet it seems so difficult to even find someone who wants to go on a date. I’m starting to question if there is something wrong with me. Does anyone else notice it?

I have been in and out of dating, relationships since I was 13, I learned early on that as you leave a relationship, another does happen, however it’s about relaxing and not forcing things. A good move is to avoid dating apps and just live your life, enjoy socialising with others, get out and live rather than expecting to find someone on an App.

Good point. It’s quite difficult where I live as it’s a small rural city. But I have zero confidence when it comes to dating. I don’t feel like anyone would date me, so I tend to not approach in public

I don’t think many have confidence with dating, it’s always a bit of a guess n gamble on how it will work out.
Someone will always date another person, it’s how the person is that counts and not so much looks etc.
For me the harder part is getting someone I can feel emotionally connected to, meeting girls and chatting to them is fairly simple.
