Girl I feel ya, nothing ruins a date like Aunt Flow showing up early! A few things you could try:
- Stress can bring on your period, so relax tonight with a warm bath and some comfort foods. No need to overthink things!
- Some people say eating pineapple can help delay it since bromelain thins the uterine lining. Maybe snack on some tonight.
- Exercise like a long walk can encourage blood flow elsewhere and push things back a bit. Go for it this evening.
- You can also try an over-the-counter pill like ibuprofen, which is also supposed to help delay things starting as it reduces prostaglandins.
- Make sure to wear a backup tampon or pad just in case though sis! Don't want any surprises tomorrow.
Fingers crossed one of those tips does the trick. But honestly, sometimes our bodies got different plans no matter what. Don't stress - I'm sure your date will understand if Aunt Flo shows up. You still gonna have a bomb time! Let me know if anything works!
thank goodness it didn't come
Whoa girl, thanks for the update! I'm so glad mother nature didn't ruin your date plans. Looks like one of those delay methods must have worked like a charm.
Ain't nothing worse than having to deal with Aunt Flo at an inopportune time, ya know? So stoked you got to go have fun without any period related drama. Did you end up feeling 100% too, no pesky cramps or anything?
Bet you looked bomb as hell and totally swept your date off their feet! Go you for taking charge and not letting something out of your control screw things up. Always gotta tap into those lady tricks we've got, amirite?
Now spill - how'd it go? Gonna see this guy again or what? Periods think they rule us but we really run the show. So glad you got to enjoy your night without any hormonal hijinks. You deserve it sis!
Oh, there is no delaying Flo. She comes when she comes. 😂😂😂
