There was this guy many years ago, we were good friends, I had feelings for and apparently he had them for me too, but apparently he wasn't ready for a relationship as it wasn't long after him and his ex had broken up but even tho he didn't want a relationship with me he was happy kissing me and acting like we were in one... Anyway we lost contact for a little and I found my ex (partner at the time) I got pregnant then we ended up meeting again just to find out he got his ex pregnant but they weren't together it was just a one off apparently but he decided that he wanted to try things out with us but obviously by that point I was in a relationship and having my exes kid funny enough his kid was born the same day as my daughter was but we never spoke since.. was to late for him to "want" me. I had moved on. Don't think he could handle it so yeh he stopped talking to me and we no longer were friends either. Think he was pretty mad because he even went to the extent of making a fake social and messaging my ex telling him I had fucked him in his car which never happened lol

I called her up to find out if she was coming over for Thanksgiving dinner as my aunt and grandmother wanted to know how many places to set and how much food to cook. She said, "No, I've already got plans to have dinner with my FRIEND, David." (By this time, she'd been spending most holidays over the previous few years with either her FRIEND, David, or this married Turkish couple that we both worked with. I'm not a jealous guy so, I don't mind her having male friends but, this was JUST STARTING to get to be a bit much. So, I jokingly said to her, "Geez! You're spending a number of holidays with this guy. What are you gonna do, marry him?" A long pause. And then, "Well... yeah." Needless to say, I was shocked!! And all she could say was, "I thought you knew." HOW THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW? SHE NEVER TOLD ME!! One day, at work, I had to walk 3 blocks from my "office" to make a delivery and spotted her waiting for a bus to a place neither of us had ever been to together, before! She just said she was going to visit a friend! She said NOTHING about how she was on her way to her new boyfriend's house so she could fuck his brains out!! As far as I knew, WE were still a couple!! So did everyone else we knew!!

@luvstoned4him That's true! And, after this, she still wanted to stay friends with me!! Okay, I told her back when we first started seeing each other that, even if we broke up, I'd still wanna be friends BUT, what I MEANT was that, if we broke up amicably!! Or, at LEAST if one of us wanted to end it and we sat and discussed it together! NOT where one of us goes off and starts fucking someone else and just figures the other knew all about it, or if one of us started cheating on the other!
What hurts even worse is that she dropped HIM a year later!!

There was a girl I knew when I was in high school. She was really the first girl I ever loved. I never could tell her how I felt about her. Two years later I went to see her and I asked her if she would go out with me the next day. i had a whole speech in my head that I was going to tell her how I felt about her and how i wanted her to be my girlfriend.

She worked in a drug store near where she lived. She did not have a drivers license. Before the date I stopped by the pharmacy to give her a ride home only to find that she was not there. I figured she walked home. I went to her mother's house and she told me that she was not there. Her mother invited me to come in and wait. I sat in her kitchen for about an hour getting grilled by her mother., The phone rings and it is this girl. She tells me that she is stuck at work because a cash register fell on the floor and everyone has to stay and clean up the mess. I asked her if I should wait for her and she told me not to. I did not tell her that I knew she was lying to me because I went by the store where she worked and they told me that she already left.

I got in my car and drove away and never saw her again.

I had a crush on a guy friend and he knew because I awkwardly came right out and told him. It was a Sunday evening and he asked me if I wanted to go out for dinner with him the following Saturday. He said he'd pick me up from my place. I said yes and all week I looked forward to it. All throughout the week we stayed in touch via text. On Saturday evening he texted to let me know he'd left his house and was on the way. He never showed up and didn't answer his phone. A couple days later he sent me a "Sorry, fell asleep lol" text. I was so turned off by him standing me up like that that I blocked him.

Me personally I have not been rejected brutally by anyone I really cared for. But I’ve seen it happen. Be nice:.. I don’t get the sick thrill some get at killing someone’s confidence. Men and women both.

I wouldn't say the way she did it was bad, but it was what happened afterwards that was bad. It was while I was in junior high. She said no and apologized, and of course I felt depressed. But what was worse is that she was one of the more popular people in school, so she knew a bunch of people in our grade, and she told them all I asked her out. And they kept bringing it up to me, and some of them actually teased me about it. So not only did I have to endure the rejection itself, but I had to endure the constant reminders of said rejection afterwards.

she truly sucks, its fair that she want to tell her closest friends about it (which most people do, not to shame, but just kind of sharing info), but going out to the entire people of the grade, she's low..

@Lily_lilac It was junior high. We were 13, 14 back then. No where near as mature or considerate. She's actually a very kind person, but yeah it sucked that everyone knew about it and brought it up

I was humiliated in front of his friends and everyone at the local sauna where people knew I had a crush on my friend and kept asking 'where is that nice guy' and 'such nice guy', because I was looking for either friendship or serious relation or nothing and he just was looking for casual and ego boost. That circle was shit and evil, it was the first circle of friends I got after graduating and living on my own and I put my trust in them. I got to learn how shitty people are and it was not just that guy, if people's agendas conflict with yours they gonna hurt you. If they are mentally ill and delusional or someone bigger than them is hurting them they are gonna scapegoat you and spread false information. Ironically, these were all immigrants from 'conservatives' countries and families. I wish I could have just told them they are pieces of sh*t to their face the first time I saw them and kept it that way.

I dated a girl that I really liked. She really liked me as well. Our chemistry was fire and the sex was phenomenal and as per her confession she had never cum and orgasmed so much in her life. Over the course of 2 months she got really jealous and suspicious and broke up with me because she said I was too perfect and as such she thought I was fake and probably a master manipulator. I didn’t argue with her because I’m not about being with insecure women as that’s a huge red flag to me.

happened in my younger days, then girlfriend who I was head over heels in love with showed up with a guy she introduced me to as her boyfriend, seems I was just entertainment until he came home from his job with the carnival. Crushed me at the time and made me mistrust women for quite a while after that.

    🤔🤔🤔

When I was a junior in high school, I had a huge crush on the most popular boy in school. I would talk with him everyday and he was always nice to me. Anyway, this went on for nine months until finally a friend of mine told me that this young man had been talking badly about me behind my back. According to her, he mocked me and called me “pesky.” It came down on me like a ton of bricks.

Same. Some people would call us weak, but in reality, we just know how to evaluate situations. Even the relationships I've had, all just kind of happened. My wife was the first person in my life I actually formally asked out and dated. And even then, I waited until I was pretty sure she liked me, and was possibly not seeing her ex boyfriend anymore.
