Do you think your spouse is hard to talk to? Is that a big deal when dating someone?

I ask because I recently dated one lady and we got along fine and all, but I felt she was really hard to talk to, and hard to make jokes with. Comparing that to my friends spouses: 2 of them I feel are very easy to talk to, and one of them is kinda tricky, as she just kinda seems all to herself whenever I'm around her and that friend of mine. My friend also talks to her differently than he does with me. Not trying to badmouth her, don't get me wrong; it just leads me to pondering. Is your spouse hard to talk to at all?

I started talking to her on Hinge about a month and a half ago, and we went on 2 dates between then and now. It took a bit for us to actually go on one date, and then again for date 2 since I had to go to Hawaii for my friends wedding. I did get her number during that time as well, but we didn't really talk to each other that much. I've dated other women where we'd chat almost every day, even in the beginning, and they weren't hard to talk to at all. One of them I'm friends with today. One reason I think she's hard to talk to is because date 2 was after my Hawaii trip and I showed her photos of it and told her some details about the trip. She didn't say much about it, and it was hard to figure out what else to talk to her about.
