Today, so, the girl i like said to me that i should date her friend. i laughed it out. when she slipped and fell down i said she should've called my friend who also liked her. she said i know what you are trying to say, he is like my brother, you are still a school child. did i lowered my value here or disrespected myself?

Hmm, maybe a little bit man. When she slipped and fell, making a joke about her liking your friend too wasn't really cool. Even if you were just teasing back, it probably came off harsher than you meant it.

And her saying you're acting like a school child is her basically telling you that you hurt her feelings or made the situation awkward. Girls don't like when guys joke about that kind of stuff.

I wouldn't say you completely disrespected yourself, but you could have handled it better by just giving her a hand up and asking if she's okay instead of trying to be funny. Now she'll probably think twice about opening up to you again if you're gonna use what she says against her.

My advice would be to just own up to it - tell her sorry, you were just joking around but you realize it came out wrong. Reassure her you didn't mean anything by it. Then change the subject and hopefully she'll get over it. We all say dumb things sometimes when we're nervous! Learn from it.

no. i didn't seek dating advice lol. when she said to date her friend i found it funny. but later when she slipped and fell and asked for help i said you should have called my friend who liked her but she said she sees her as brotherly
