Is this disrespect or am I overreacting?

My girlfriend and I live together. We have a maid who comes in thrice a week to wash the clothes and stuff. I specifically told me girlfriend THREE times to tell the maid to machine wash my clothes. She still went on to tell the maid to hand wash my clothes. She did not forget she just thought hand washing is better.

To me this is blatant disregard for my preferences. It literally does not cost her an extra cent or an extra second to satisfy my preferences for my clothes but she still thought she knew better. What do you all think?
