Am I overreacting or am I being disrespected?

Okay so I work from home and when I'm working it has to be in a quiet environment. But my boyfriend has been yelling and cursing while playing games on his phone. I don't care if he yells and curses this is his house too. But not while I'm working because I can lose my job if someone would hear him. I have asked him multiple times to please stop doing it when I'm working and why. He says he is sorry but he still keeps doing it. To me if my partner asked me to stop doing something because it can cost them their job I would never do it again. I wouldn't forget what they said the very next day nor would I just say im sorry and then do it again. I really feel like im being disrespected. But I could be overreacting too. I mean he wouldn't like it if I went to his work and started yelling and cursing at my phone in front of his coworkers or his boss. I was on a call earlier and he started yelling again so I hurried and text him to shut the fuck up only because im fed up with repeating myself. And he tells me im rude. Like what the hell. Am rude but you yelling and stuff isn't rude.

Honestly, your boyfriend is a child if, at his age, he is still playing games on his smartphone that cause him to yell and curse. He is certainly not a responsible person and from what you tell us, he is very egoistic and only thinks of himself and doesn't consider the well being of others, mainly his girlfriend.

He could not care less if you lose your job or if you have stress while you study. All that matters to him is that he has his satisfaction. That is a huge red flag and not acceptable.

I would have a serious discussion with him and tell him that a possible consequence of his childish behavior may be that you will leave him. That is certainly what I would do.

I cannot imagine a future with such a disrespectful child.
