What should I wear for a first meeting in karaoke?

So I met this guy in a formal event around a week ago, we started to talk and became friends. We were talking about music, singing and stuff like that. He suddenly offered to take me to a karaoke. It's not like a party or anything, it'll just be the two of us. I'll stick to something casual but I'm not sure about what to wear. So What do you think i should wear? PS It's very hot since it's summer.

Hmm for a more casual first karaoke date I'd say go for something cute but comfortable! Since it's just you two and it's hot out, I'd suggest like a sundress or romper. Nothing too tight or short, but something flowy and breathable so you're not dying of heat in a stuffy karaoke room.

Maybe like a knee-length sundress with some cool pattern or colors. Or a romper with shorts and a loose top if that's more your style. Can't be singing belting out tunes if you're all sweaty and miserable!

For shoes I'd go with some strappy sandals or wedges if you want a little height. Keep accessories simple like a necklace or pair of earrings - don't wanna be clanging when you grab the mic!

As for hair and makeup, just do a glowing natural look to play up your features. Maybe curled hair half up/half down. You want to feel and look cute without overthinking it since it's casual.

Most important is that you feel comfortable! This guy picked karaoke so I'm sure he wants you to have fun singing, not be stressing about your outfit. You'll look great no matter what - just wear what makes you feel confident belting your faves! Let me know how it goes!
