Freaking out about what to do next with this girl?

things have actually gone pretty well so far this summer compared to past. we've talked a fair bit at the place where she works and hung out at this other nearby bar and even did a shot together.

but feel like status quo only goes so far and if i want more from her have to try and take things further somehow.

i'd like to do something outside of the place she works and that bar but not sure what to suggest , we already know each other fairly well so wouldn't be necessary to do a first date type thing to get to know each other

That's not true, a first date is a special moment for both of you. Ask her out and let her know that it's not just both of you hanging out... that it's a date and you're planning to take her out as your girl.

well true , more meant it wouldn't be necessary to do like a coffee shop get to know you date as we already know each other.

i agree that the first actual date would be something special and different than any of our past encounters which have mostly occured at the bar or the restaurant where she works

i came up with one idea and she said that she likes what this place serves , is a new caesar themed bar and she told me she loves caesars only thing is its a 30 min drive in another city , not that far but be easier if it was closer
