Girls, Do you like and prefer or exclusively want what would traditionally be called "Alpha males"?

I'm asking if the traits that have usually been called "alpha male traits" are traits you look for in a man when looking for dating opportunities.

Not really. I prefer what’s classified as “sigma” (though I hate all these labels in general… they’re ridiculous). I like guys who are assertive and know wtf they want, but not the pushy aggressive guy (or the sneaky gaslighting guy). Sigmas are more the “real deal” kind of guys who have a solid protective instinct and a sense of humor to balance their “go get it”/“go fix it”/“protect and serve” instinct.

Yes, but a real alpha and not what some non alphas online seem to think alpha is. Men seem to think it’s macho guys with big muscles who sleep around, are arrogant, stubborn and won’t listen to anyone, looks down on women and whatever. That’s not an alpha at all. A real alpha is calm and secure and confident in himself with good self-esteem, a true leader, knows what he wants, kind to everyone not just those he gets something out of, non judgmental, honest, willing to listen and admit if he was wrong and reevaluate, intelligent, ambitious. Knows how to set boundaries and stand up for himself and his loved ones, protects and provides for his family. Has good morals and makes sure there’s order, things run smoothly and everyones safe happy and content. A man you can trust and rely on. Who you know will handle whatever needs to be handled and who has your best interest in mind.
