Met a really nice guy at an event but never got his details?

I recently met this guy whilst I was at a event, he was on a stag do and I was with a friend. We ended up spending all day with the group and me and this one guy kept splitting off from the group every now and then.

Even though we really hit it off, neither of us asked for each others details, eg number or social media, personally I was having a nice time and just didn't think of it (plus was a little tipsy), as we had made plans with the group to go out after the event with everyone, i just assumed i’d get his details at someother time as we all got the bus back together etc

but when we got to the club, we got separated and we lost the group and me and friend ended up just going home. I have since tried to find the guy on social media but has I only have is name, age and location haven't been able to find him.

My friend said i should try tiktok, as apprently people put pictures up of people and sometimes tiktok finds them. But personally i find that a tad too creepy, but do want to continue looking.

should i just stick to the dating sites, as we live a few cities apart and facebook and instagram or try tiktok? Or just move on and if im meant to see him again I will
