Is it wrong to date someone who is at the legal age but looks underage?

I look way younger than my actual age. I’m 20 but people usually think I’m in high-school (freshman or sophomore) or sometimes middle school. A couple of days ago I saw a post on ig that if you’re attracted to someone that looks underage even though they aren’t you’re a ped*file. This statement kinda made me interested because I look young myself. What are your thoughts?

No, it is not wrong to date someone who looks underage. Really, it's not wrong to date someone who IS under age, since that limit is about having sex, not dating, but most people seem unable to comprehend the idea of "we're waiting until we're both old enough".

Pedophilia is simpler: it's sexual attraction to children. Not minors, not people below the age of consent, but children. That is, prepubescents. If you're physically old enough to reproduce, or even have sexual desires of your own, you're too old for a pedophile.

It is not wrong. That said, if you really do look like a middle schooler and a 20+ man comes up to you making sexual advances... it sure sounds suspicious to me. Coz, how does he know you are not a middle schooler? And if he can't tell the difference, doesn't that mean he was sexually attracted to a middle schooler who just turned out to be older? So someone who knows you well and knows how old you actually are would not fall in that category but definitely watch out for the random guys. Unless of course you are dressed older or in an environment that makes it obvious you are not a minor. Just watch out for red flags

I don't think it's wrong but it's weird if someone is specifically really into something that is childlike. For instance I'm very short so if a guy makes my height into a fetish I would automatically assume he is a pedo and not be able to be with him. I'm fine with guys that don't care about my height
