Guy I’m dating doesn’t make time for me, should I run?

I’m using the word dating loosely bc we don’t date. We talk everyday and we have a connection but he never takes me out. We met online, my first time seeing him in person was because he invited me to his family function. He claims he doesn’t have time bc he has a small buisness that has 4 store fronts and he has to work in store a lot. He just moved into his new home and his dad moved in with him bc he got hurt on the job. He currently has no car but he’s in the process of getting one. He says he can’t court me correctly so he wants me to be patient. I told him I don’t need proper courting right now since I know this is a crucial time for his business. I just want some type of physical time. He said he can try more but today he told me he was off and spent the day with his sister and getting a hair cut. No time spared for me? I’m just tired of telling him I don’t like the lack of time and there’s no change. It’s been 2 months. He says that he likes me a lot and wish he had his “stuff together” before he met me. Should I just ghost him? He knows I’m bothered by the lack of effort in quality time, yet he doesn’t change.

I don’t think the two of you are compatible. It doesn’t sound like he’s ready to be in a relationship because he’s so focused on his business. You sound like you are ready for a relationship in the here and now. Classic case of right person wrong time.

I don't think it really matters. I mean he's either going to get it together eventually and you'll benefit from it or you won't have the patience and some other woman will benefit from it.

I guess what I'm saying is you both might have better matches.

You make time for the things that are important. If he don't.. he might not know it but he's probably missing out. Too bad but.. it is what it is.
But don't ghost him, just tell him and move one. That way he may rush into action and make time.

Try communicating without blaming him let him know you just want to spend time together and you are feeling down etc. If he truly cares he'll figure it out. If not then you know to leave.

If that's not your thing, well, you could just create a situation wherein he has to go to you for help and meet you for business related stuff. So, if you're good with accounting or numbers, you could possibly manage his inventory? That way you get to meet at least once every month or two weeks.
