Children NEED their father! Boys learn how to be men from their father, and girls receive appropriate masculine love and affection from our fathers, without that we are more likely to seek that affection from the guys at school, and that type of affection is not the appropriate affection girls need to grow up healthy and mentally well adjusted! That’s why I despise women who withhold contact from their ex-husbands, with their children! They mistakenly believe they are “punishing” or “getting revenge”, or “making the men pay” (for whatever slight these women perceive, even though something like 80-90 percent of divorces are filed by women!). All these women are doing is punishing their children, and screwing them up for life! The damage that these vindictive women inflict on their kids will be with them for the rest of their lives! So NO! I would not raise a child without being married, and if god forbid, I ended up getting a divorce, my number one priority would be to make sure they see their father as much as possible!

Here in Florida, they recently did away with the concept of “custody” because children are not prisoners! Now in a divorce, the mother and father receive joint parental responsibility, and they split the parenting time 50/50! Meaning one week mom gets 3 days and dad gets 4 days with the child (ren), and the next week dad gets 3 days and mom gets 4 days with the child (ren)! Additionally, any parent who engages in “parental alienation” will loose their right of visitation, until they can prove that it will never happen again! I think that is fantastic that a state is finally looking out for the best interests of the children, and putting the wants and needs of both dad AND mom second!

married… then kids after 3-5 years.
didn’t know any other way.
just like my son… he is the youngest out of all the cousins… and hated being the youngest because he was always being spoiled…

so when my little sister got married he asked her first out of the whole big family when will he have a baby loli

in his young mind… people only can have kids after marriage 😂 cute

I only had kids within marriage, though I split with their dad and raised them on my own. No, if I hadn't married I wouldn't have had kids.

No way. Kids need a mother AND a father, and having them outside of marriage means a very high likelihood they'll eventually not have a father. I would not have kids with a man who I'm not married to, and I would not marry a man unless I knew him well enough to know he would stick around and be a good father to our children, and that means being married.

I would not prefer that. If I had to though then I would raise it, and hope to marry someday while they're still little so they can grow up with a dad. As having a father in your life is so important.
