Woke on datingapps?

Question

Hello!

I've noticed a lot of males on dating apps (especially Bumble and Badoo), even when I've filtered for women. So, I guess it's an identity matter. For me, it's fine; they can identify themselves however they want.

However, I'm looking for cis-women, not trans women. I don't want to get intimate only to discover genitals I'm not attracted to.

Today, dating apps don't seem to address these gender issues. And in the future, in my opinion, they could either go overboard with all gender definitions or just skip assigning gender altogether.

So my question:
Would it be considered discrimination if I stated, "I'm only looking for cis-females" in my bio?

Is it similar to saying, "I'm only looking for Western, white-skinned females" or "I'm only looking for dark brown-skinned females"? What do you think?

My mistake, seems like both these platforms already has gone overboard with all identiy-carousell.
However, both platforms, for example, have squeezed everything within 'womanhood' into being female.

We are living in an interesting era, where it has already been presented that childbirth rates are decreasing drastically, I woooonder why..

A trans woman who doesn't specify they are trans isn't someone trustworthy anyway. Specifying that you want a cis woman isn't going to deter a sneaky person.

On the other hand, making it clear you want a cis woman makes you look bad. You will sound like you aren't confident you could sus that out in a conversation before getting naked, ergo you will sound like you aren't interested in conversation at all before getting naked. Women generally don't need to be told that information and tend to quickly dismiss the sort of men who are unaware that everyone already knows that all men want sex.

That said, even with the most perfectly worded profile you are still going to have to contend with The Ratio. There are substantially more men on dating sites than women. Like 100:1 at least. Indeed, I sometimes suspect all the online dating frenzy among men is partially causing the rise in trans women - like those frogs that change gender if there are too many of one sex. So, keep in mind if you get a handful of trans women trying to talk to you it doesn't mean cis women would have talked to you if not for that - it means no one would have talked to you at all if not for that.

Hooking up with women online is a more luck of timing than anything else. If you want to hook up with women the thing to do is turn off the internet and go meet them in the real world.

It’s non discriminatory.

Let’s say you wanted to impregnate a woman who is fully a woman to have children & raise a family together. I’d say asking for “cis females” isn’t a bad thing. That makes perfect sense.

Let’s say you just wanted to date and figure / get a feel for people regardless of gender, identity, whatever because you just wanted someone to be buddy buddy with / nothing too serious then it would be okay to date all types of women as an example.

Point is, if you are looking for a certain type (in this specific case) then that is okay. Do what you feel is comfortable.

It is discrimination but the thing is when it comes to preferences you're allowed and SHOULD discriminate. Otherwise it's like someone else telling you who you're allowed to be attracted or not.
