Why do people enter relationships?

I mean, I find it completely redundant. I have, sure, took liking to many lads but I did not find them irreplaceable and would carry on just as well without them.

People are social beings and like to be in the company of other people.

Even I, a recluse, still need human contact; it'll be on my terms though.

So I see myself as a 'Popular Loner'

Oh sex is not on my mind; a Romantic Relationship is also not on my mind. I am so damaged that I am really not relationship material... maybe in the future, but not now.

I want contact with my kids... and in the meantime it is just me and my 2 'Carpet Sharks' (Ferrets).

It is a shame though that we feel forced to do this due to our own personal reasons; we may well miss out on the love of our lives this way.

I won't pry, but there has to be a reason for it why you do not want to get into relationships; same as there is for me.

I wish I had come to that conclusion a long time ago; though I have lived most of my adult life like a hermit, I came out of hiding for a 'black widow'.

Now I do put myself first... I've even had to abandon my kids to ensure I would survive my ex; though she was the one who prevented me from having the kids over at mine in the first place.

It's just me and my 2 Ferrets now; no one else
