Why people think they should be in relationship?

There is no should when it comes to relationships. If people enter a relationship believing they should be in a relationship, that relationship will never thrive. I'm not saying no forced relationships will ever succeed, but they require a lot of hard work from both people in order to overcome the resistance caused by that obligation. We resist obligation, even when we obligate ourselves.

There are many reasons people choose to be in a relationship. Ideally, in a healthy relationship both people feel safe, secure and special. It provides new dimensions to who we are and what we can experience. Unfortunately, very few people prioritize both feeling safe, secure and special... preferring to focus on their own sense of entitlement. A healthy relationship nurtures us, soothes us, comforts us, energizes and motivates us. The value of what two people create and nurture together adds meaning we can never achieve on our own. For instance, can you tickle yourself? Some things require someone else in order for us to gain the full experience.

In my experience, the worse someone's behavior is, the less likely they are to recognize their own faults and the role they play in their own situation.

@Holsen I don't know because what is a true partner. Some relationships are not meant to last forever, but that doesn't mean they were not worthwhile at the time.

But they are still incomplete as long as you haven’t found your true parter wich is way too impossible but while they might not be unworthy they are not complete
