Why when I offer myself as single, women do not offer themselves accordingly?

This may be a dumb question but why don't I get a response from women when I say I'm single? Some laugh and others say "keep looking" whether they are in a relationship or not, why don't they say "hey I'm in a relationship but I can introduce you to someone, maybe you'll like him" but no, now, he may not be the man of their dreams but if they are single why don't they want to meet me at least? I've seen women with ugly men and they are in a relationship, surely those men won them over but without saying they were single, but why doesn't a single woman "offer" herself the same when a man offers himself as single?

No, no woman owes me anything, but I'm supposed to introduce myself as single not on the first date, but at some point. If she likes me without even saying my marital status, why should she "reject" me just by saying so? Even though you were too dismissive and very rude, that's why many men see you as cold and unfeeling, because of these kinds of responses.
