I remember going through that before when I was dating. This one guy wouldn't commit to a relationship with me because I didn't have a college degree so he could never take me to meet his parents. What a crock!

I did get married when I was 20 and he was 19. We had a little son in our 3rd year of our marriage.
I save so much stuff that is really really old. But the other day I found an old (from 1975) Valentine's Day card from him. When I opened it up, on the first line he said "You are the best wife in the world ". Tears ran down my face when I read that, because I know I was the best wife ever and we still got divorced because he had these two young girls chasing him at his work and he went for it with one of them.

So, we can be the best wife a guy could ever have and even that doesn't matter.

Most of them are just screwed up and wouldn't know a good woman if she was standing right in front of him.
