So I met this guy on Bumble, and we talked for like two months (different countries - never met in person). I'm from the US, and he's from Europe. We had cool convos and were really into each other. But one day we had a misunderstanding and stopped talking. Here's the dumb thing that happened:
I asked what he did that day, and he told me he went to see his family. I said, "Oh, they live in Italy too?" and he said, "No, they live in Spain." I said (jokingly, not trying to be rude at all), "Oh! I almost forgot that traveling through Europe is like going from the patio to the living room."
He got offended by this. I meant that Europe is relatively small and with an 8-hour ride I wouldn't even be out of my state. He started talking passive-aggressively about it and finally said, "Okay, you won, collect your prize here." I found that rude and didn't respond. That was in late June, and we never talked again. I feel like he took that comment way worse than he should have, and I don't like the way he reacted. I'm unsure if I should talk to him again since I kinda liked him, or if I should just leave it like that.

What Girls Said
It's a long distance, I say you are way better off letting it go. He can't handle your sense of humor than it could potentially get worse too. You can still meet great men here in the US and in your city
Thank you :)
