What defines a sub 5 guy or one who is below average?

Because I for the longest believed I was like that but some women smile at me when I’m out female co workers always initiate conversations with me

Not being in the top 20%, makes a guy sub-5 to women. 80% if guys are below average, in women's opinions. Because they actually have high standards. Tall, athletic, handsome face, confident demeanor, gets most men in the top 20%. Not a strict rule though.
