Why do I feel drawn to do something I know I shouldn't do in terms of meeting someone?

One is a 59 year old woman (I'm 35), who is super in to feminism etc.(I am not), and really showed a very ugly side of herself when she flipped out on me the other day. She mostly apologized for it... I don't think it was a complete apology, but mostly... I find her hott, and I get turned on by the idea of meeting her, but realize this isn't a good use of my time and energy.

Another one randomly messaged me back on eHarmony a few days ago 6 months after I messaged her almost, she just came back on and lives in DC (but occasionally is in NY) and happens to be when I am spending a long weekend in the city. We MAY have another opportunity to meet another day, but we could at least do dinner tomorrow. She is 37, also leans left but I made it clear to her I am Pro-Life because some women who lean left hate that, and her view on it is very nuanced anyway.. at least this is a person I could potentially have a future with, and it's also not as much of an inconvenience if I go to meet her since I would prefer to leave my house later in the day than earlier tomorrow.

But like, I realize this second meeting we will at MOST kiss... and that's a MAYBE...
With the first one I have been playing with myself thinking about having sex with her even though I know I shouldn't.

Why do I feel drawn to do something I know I shouldn't do in terms of meeting someone?
