If by allow you mean I'd be against it then yea because they can have female friends and I'm not just a fuck dummy and i have all the traits and requirements for a opposite sex friend as well so why have other dude friends? I'm not going to straight on force them and try to control them but if they don't respect my decisions I don't think I have to be forced to stay with them so if their male friends are more important than their partner then by all means I'll find a partner that respects my boundaries like id respect hers.

Male friend kinda... Male work friend maybes...

married male friend sure if we get along.

Work wife! That is asking for her to get drunk and cheat by exploring her being bi!

Leaving you to hear the stories as she decides she wants to be lesbian and does not want you much of any.

I'm not her boss so I can't "allow" her to do anything. If you're asking if I would have an issue with it, it depends on the context. (If she wanted to rent a hotel room with said male friend. There has to be some boundaries and I wouldn't be ok with that) But for the most part, I'd have no issue with it.

I wouldn't "own" my girlfriend, so she could do what she wants.

what does it matter? Shouldn't it matter how long and healthy those relationships were?

@OtterMan68 No, it highlights that you have limited experience with women, which explains why you hold the view you do. A man that has been successful with a lot of women understands that allowing a woman to "do what she wants" means you're on the hook for her behavior unless you're saying you don't provide and protect the women you date?

how are you, an adult, on the hook for the behavior of another adult's behavior?
If you've had lots of girlfriends, it shows you can't maintain a relationship

@OtterMan68 Excellent question and please don't be embarrassed that you don't know this. Part of your responsibilities as a man is to ensure the safety of your women, so perhaps the reason you've had so little success is because you haven't show the ability to do that. If someone breaks into the house or she is assaulted on the street are you saying you wouldn't defend her? Because it takes a lot for a man to attract a variety of women it validates that I bring value. You're using the female metric which makes sense because you haven't been with a lot of women. Hope this helps.

I was married and have a wonderful son. How was I not successful?
If I've had 5 relationships that lasted an average of 3 years each, and you've had 30 that lasted 1 month each, who has had more success.
I would also NOT date someone I did not trust, so I would not have to forbid her from anythin.

@OtterMan68 Another great question you're not successful because marriage is a female metric, please understand that this does not mean you're a failure, as having a son and being married is an accomplishment however a man's relationship success is measured by how many women he can attract hence why there are few platforms teaching men how to get married yet thousands teaching them how to get laid. To answer you hypothetical question I would been deemed successful think about it, if we were surrounded by 50 men arguing about who's better w/ women and your evidence was you were married and mine was I sleep w/ a different woman every night I would be deemed more successful by the overwhelming majority.

@DrPepper12 Valuable insight, but it's anecdotal. In general dudes don't want to be just friends with girls. Majority who say they do would instantly accept if the female gave them an opportunity to have sex w/ them.
