So I asked the guy I was dating before we broke up a couple of days ago. I randomly asked him what’s different about me and the other girls he has spoken to and the women around him as always says I’m different his reply was ‘ your heart ‘ your kind and always helping people. I said I get that compliment a lot about having a good heart as my family tell me I have a heart of gold.

my question is if someone has a good heart and you know this too why would you not act right and be there for the person? I don’t get it and change your ways if you love them and you know their a good person

Most people like who they are and don’t want to change. No one is going to change for you, regardless of how nice or beautiful you are. Thinking that someone will change for your leads to many heartbreaking failed relationships.

Very true 👏🏾 this is lesson I am learning people don’t want to change not even for the better and that should be ok. I need to learn to move on with my life and not worry. As having an expectation that they will change gets my heart broken every time
