What feels as eternity, a girl today told me she broke up with her ex of five years, i gave her some advice such as “i am sorry for that, hope you move on and time helps.”
i tried my best in the moment as you can imagine.
We spoke for a little, it was mostly me talking tbf
i asked her out in person and she took my number.
i think this is her way of thinking about this and i did explain, only one date
Perhaps next month and yea.. this is a start.
First time a girl lowkey took my number down, and say she will consider.
i was persistent yet understanding.
i even asked her to read my number back to make certain she had correct number, i wouldn’t have known she had a break up.
She works as a chef.
So.. a girl that already cooks.
She tried to tell me i should try dating apps and i told her men shouldn’t have success in these.
Should have told her scammers and stuff exist online way too lowkey.
Perhaps this would been too much.
How was your day?
She is yet to text me or call..
i will give this time up to Friday to see if she contacts me.
This was a five minute to ten minutes conversation in person in real life.
i only want to go on a date sometime next month as i Haven’t been on a date hang out hanging out with a girl type way since summer 2019..

Nice for you yeah, but it’s not all about you. Even though you feel like you aren’t being pushy or persistent in a way you are. To me it doesn’t seem like she’s romantically interested, even saying she has to think about texting your number or having a date. If she were really into you she wouldn’t have to think about it.

You say that you asked her out in person. I mention this because unfortunately, there are too many people (mainly women) who will do things they don’t mean out of fear of confrontation. It’s stupid because if she were to flat out reject you, I doubt you would’ve given her a hard time and just accepted it. Still there’s that irrational fear of you getting mad, angry with her or even just having your feelings hurt. That’s something most people generally try to avoid, and it’s what could be the case here. I know I’ve given my number to a guy on a night out, he was a little too short but very kind and polite, I felt bad to reject so I gave him my number. It’s a tale as old as time😔

No, never texted him. I realize when I got a bit older how wrong that was. But I was a lot more soft spoken at the time and really didn’t want to hurt feelings, even though he probably would’ve taken it fine.
