I like AI chatbots & computers more than people because they don't use nuanced or indirect communication. I also find structured interaction with AI chatbots & computers to be comforting because it aligns with my preference for routine.

I think it's not about IF, more about WHEN robotspartners will replace real partners.
Having a reallife person as a partner will be a luxury, miracle, naive thinking, financial (or maybe not) and emotional demanding.
Since humanity constantly developing when they want and strive for what they need, robotcompanion who can be everything with some coding.. well..
