they love you unconditionally and that is not something that humans do
Because people get on our nerves more often. Pets however... make life a bit more... worth it.

Most are quite affectionate with their humans. More than just seeing us as food bowl. It is a simpler more honest affection I think. They don't file for divorce very often so you know you have it for life.
They are capable of the purest form of innocence and loyalty
