You've all heard the phrase "boys and their toys". At some point in the evolution of the male species a gene appeared that programs us to get excited by anything that makes a mechanical noise. Trucks, cars, guns, diggers, trains, planes, and so on and so on. So here's the question: When exactly did that happen?
Other way around: our genetics prompted us to INVENT the things that make complex mechanical noises. Trucks, cars, guns, diggers, trains and planes wouldn't exist without that desire. Not yet, at least.
It isn't a thing.
Not all guys are into fast or loud toys. It's probably more a cry for attention than anything.
