Why do I, almost immediately, wind up in the friend zone when I meet women?

I have a lot of women friends, as I find them much more understanding, compassionate, easier to communicate with, etc., but I really want something more than that. With every woman I meet, or get to know, I just find another "friend" and am not sure why or what to do about it.

Cos you're looking for a partner. Women are like cats in that when you want to pet your cat it will walk way. The cat will come to you and show you its belly when you're not trying to pet it.

Women are similar, if your trying to hard to get into a relationship they will instinctively sense it and become uninterested while if your just there to have fun they will see that you are fun and start to approach you or at least hint you too approach them instead.

I really don't think I come across that way at all. If anything, I don't think I show enough interest/am too conservative/cautious about that sort of thing.

It's not something that shows on the surface. The difference between desperation and ambition is confidence.

Or, bluntly, you could just be unattractive. I don't know how that works but attractive women are typically swarmed with less attractive men, clearly only around her because she is attractive, each wondering why she won't give them a chance when they aren't out looking for unattractive women to court, either.

I am quite confident, and have always been told how attractive I am, so I don't believe it's that, but, thank you for your response.
